Professional AV
Installation.

Our certified AV installers handle everything from cable runs and mounting to system programming and commissioning — working around your schedule to minimise disruption to your business or school.

WHY PROFESSIONAL INSTALLATION

Installed Right.
The First Time.

A poor AV installation costs more to fix than to do right the first time. Hidden cables pulled through the wrong cavity, displays mounted without load-bearing assessment, and systems commissioned without proper testing all lead to the same outcome — a callback that disrupts your team and damages your trust in the technology.

Ambiant’s installation team is certified, experienced, and detail-focused. We treat every job — from a single meeting room display to a full-building AV rollout — with the same standard of care.

What we Install

Display & Screen Installation

Wall mounting, ceiling suspension, and desk integration for interactive flat panels, commercial displays, video walls, and projector/screen combinations — all cable-managed to a professional standard.

Audio System Installation

Ceiling speaker placement, microphone mounting, DSP rack installation, and full audio system commissioning — tuned and tested for your specific room acoustics.

Camera & Video System Installation

PTZ and auto-tracking camera mounting, cabling, and platform configuration (Teams, Zoom, Google Meet) — correctly aimed, framed, and integrated with your control system.

AV Control System Integration

Q-SYS system installation and programming — touch panel setup, automation logic, and integration with lighting, blinds, and building management systems where applicable.

Cabling & Infrastructure

Structured AV cabling — HDMI, CAT6, fibre, and speaker cable — run inside walls, through conduit, or in managed surface trays for a clean, permanent, and serviceable installation.

Digital Signage Installation

Commercial display mounting, media player installation, content management platform setup, and network configuration for single-screen and multi-screen signage deployments.

Our Process

How Our Installation Process Works.

1

Pre-Installation Preparation

We review the approved design drawings, order all specified equipment, and coordinate with your site contact on access, timing, and any building requirements before we arrive.

2

Site Arrival & Protection

Our team arrives on time, introduces themselves to your site contact, and protects all work areas — floors, walls, and furniture — before any work begins.

3

Cable Infrastructure First

All cabling is installed before any hardware is mounted. This ensures clean cable runs and avoids rework — cables go in walls and ceiling spaces while access is still clean.

4

Hardware Mounting

Displays, speakers, cameras, and control panels are mounted and secured to the correct load-bearing fixings — level, at the right height, and correctly positioned for the room.

5

System Integration & Programming

All hardware is connected, powered, and integrated. Control systems are programmed to the agreed specification — inputs, presets, automation, and platform connections configured.

6

Testing & Commissioning

Every component is tested — audio levels balanced, cameras framed, displays calibrated, and control system functions verified. We don't leave until everything works as specified.

7

Site Cleanup & Handover

All work areas are cleaned, packaging is removed, and the space is left exactly as we found it — except with a fully working AV system in place.

FAQ

Common Questions About Ambiant's AV Installation Service

Answers to the questions we hear most often.
What's included in a professional AV installation, beyond just mounting equipment?
Installation covers cable runs, mounting, system programming, and commissioning — plus, depending on the project, structured cabling, DSP configuration, camera and video setup, and Q-SYS control programming, all handled as one coordinated process rather than separate trades.
Yes — the process includes protective measures for work areas on arrival, and a site cleanup step as part of handover, so the goal is to leave the space as it was found, aside from the new AV equipment.
Yes, installation work follows AS/NZS standards, and mounting includes load-bearing verification appropriate to the display or equipment being installed.
Poor installation quality — rushed cabling, incorrect mounting, or skipped testing — is what typically causes follow-up callbacks. Ambiant’s process includes a dedicated testing and commissioning step for every component before handover, specifically to catch issues before the client relies on the system.
Ambiant installs with IT infrastructure awareness, aiming for clean integration with existing networks rather than treating AV as a standalone system that IT has to work around afterwards.
Post-installation support is available after handover, and installation is typically paired with staff training so the system is both working and actually usable from day one.
